For this project, my first serious attempt at documentary photography, I decided
to shoot at work since access wasn't an issue and I was always there anyway.
It gave me a chance to learn some of what we actually do at the College of Pharmacy
and meet a lot of the people, mostly grad students, who I never get to actually
meet unless they have a lot of computer problems.
I don't know how many photos I took over thirteen weeks to get the twenty-two
photos included in this project, but it was a lot--especially considering I printed
over five hundred work prints. I wasn't sure if I would get another opportunity
to take a photo class of this type, so I shot color using anything I could think
of--film and digital, slide and print film, 35mm and digital formats. I plan to
expand the selection I have here to about fifty photos.
